As the world tries to grasp with the unfortunate reality that true evil lurks within, the nation is beggining to learn more of Adam Lanza.
It was on Friday morning when the tragic school shooting over at Sandy Hook Elementary School occurred.
20 children were killed, along with 6 adults before the gunman, 20yr Adam Lanza, took his own life.
As news developments began unfolding throughout the morning, police officials found Lanza’s mother, 52yr old Nancy Lanza, shot dead on her bed with four shots to the head.
Police along with the media named Ryan Lanza (Adam’s older brother) the shooter at the time, due to the fact that Adam had his brother’s ID on him at the time of the massacre.
Throughout the weekend the names of the victims were made public, along with a detailed summary of Adam Lanza’s somewhat troubled life.
He is described by his former classmates and school staff as a bright, awkward kid, a loner who, in his highschool days, was often picked on….
“At that point in his life, he posed no threat to anyone else. We were worried about him being the victim or that he would harm himself,” said Mr. Nova to the Wall Street Journal.
A plumber who worked for the Lanza home described Adam as an awkward boy who would spend countless hours playing violent video games such as call of duty in a windowless room in the basement of the home he shared with his mother.
The walls of the room was plastered with posters of guns, rifles, army tanks, anything you could think of that themed out army.
The mother of Adam is described by many as a loving, generous individual that was obsessed with firearms.
“She was an enthusiast,” said a friend of the deceased. “She would forever be in shooting ranges, often bringing Adam along to target practice with her. She was passionate of the idea that he dealt with guns, as a way to instill some sort of responsibility in him.”
A spokesman for The Bureau of alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and explosives released a statement Monday, giving a glimpse of what could have sent Adam towards a spiral downfall…
Adam Lanza showed no mercy was he took the lives of little angels
“Time passed, the family fractured & broke apart. Around the time of the divorce, Ryan Lanza (brother of Adam) graduated from college and moved to New York. Adam stayed with Nancy Lanza, and her life took on strange habits. She didn’t let visitors into their home…. She collected powerful weapons and she began to bring her increasingly trouble son to multiple shooting ranges…”– a tragic fatal mistake upon the mother, psychology experts believe….
Officials are not clear as of yet to what the motives were behind the killings.
